Joe's Boston Area Restaurant Reviews

Notes: Ratings are on a curved scale of 1-10 - the higher the number the better, 5 means average. Service includes every aspect of human interaction as well as provision of items like silverware, etc. Atmosphere includes architecture, interior decoration, lighting, music, noise level, mood, and that intangible 'feel'. All ratings are mostly, but not entirely, relative to other restaurants of similar style or type (e.g. other Mexican restaurants, other upscale restaurants). Comments describe the overall feel of the place and any salient/unusual elements. I only include places where I ate in (vs. takeout). If I dissed or am missing your favorite restaurant, ask me to visit it (including again for a second opinion). I like food, so every excuse I have to eat out is a good one. =)
